If you live in Brisbane, you’ll know that the weather lately has been absolute hell for trying to co-ordinate outdoor shoots that are anything but cloudy, rainy and miserable. In the case of this shoot, it took us over a month to find a date that was going to work for everybody and for the weather gods to grant us the sunny goods we needed to make these dresses pop.
Speaking of the dresses, this shoot was for a new Brisbane start-up hoping to rent out Camilla with Love dresses to women right around the country. You can check out their Instagram here. Big props as always to Hannah for delivering the modelling goods – it’s a tough life dating a hot, Aussie blonde, but someone’s gotta do it.
These were all taken with my trusty Canon 5D Mark IV, and I swapped between my Sigma 70-200 F2.8 OS and my Canon 24-105 F4 to get the separation I wanted from the backgrounds, with either a simple reflector as back fill and a diffused speedlight for the night shots.
